Time...


As time goes by,
I sit and watch,
The world spins,
On and On…

As time goes away,
We kneel and pray,
Looking up today,
To the night sky…

As time moves on,
You revolve around,
Looking to me,
Deep into our eyes…

As time flows on,
I start to drown,
Smile to a frown,
I start to closedown…

As you move on,
I get stuck,
Deep in this muck,
Of endless despair…

As we drift apart,
We look back,
Only for a second,
Then quietly…

The silence,
So deep,
So long,
So silent…

The questions,
Why,
What,
Where,
Did it go wrong?

But it didn't,
Nothing went wrong,
Nothing was wrong,
Nothing…

It was right,
You were right,
I was right,
All was right…

Was there a need,
Was there a want,
Was there a feeling,
Of love?

I say yes,
I need yes,
I want yes,
I feel yes…

You say…
Maybe…

Maybe,
I laugh,
Look down,
Start to cry…

I push…
I turn…
I walk…
Away…

As time goes on,
I stand up,
Bend my knees,
Prepare to move on…

Time to go,
Time to move,
Time to fly,
Onwards…
Away…

Time to want it again,
Time to find it again,
Time to feel it again,
Time to love again…

As time comes close,
I reach out,
Stand up,
And smile!

Forward,
Right,
Left,
I smile!
